Privacy
Privacy, in plain words
Updated October 10, 2026
newpuppy.vet is run by Dr. Steve Pelton, DVM. It's a free education site. There are no accounts, nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy, and we don't collect email addresses.
The tools stay in your browser
The tools on this site run in your own browser. Anything you type into them, like your puppy's birthday, a weight, or your vet's phone number on the fridge card, stays on your device. It isn't sent to us or to anyone else.
Some tools remember your answers in your browser's own storage so you don't have to type them again next time. That storage lives on your device only. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes it.
What we don't do
- No accounts, passwords or sign-ups.
- No email list and no newsletter.
- No advertising, no ad trackers and no affiliate links.
- No selling or renting of any information, ever.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server keeps short-lived technical logs (things like the page requested and the time) to keep the site running and safe. They aren't used to build a profile of you.
Not veterinary advice
Everything here is general education, not veterinary advice. Your vet's plan for your puppy comes first. If you think your puppy is in danger right now, start here.
